Barbara Ehrenreich- Pathology of Hope

ehrenreichThis is one of my favorite articles of all time. I am sharing it here because I want to make sure I can always find it. Nine years ago I had to deal with breast cancer. I called it breast cancer light. I had what they call Stage Zero DCIS and I had a lumpectomy and radiation. At the same time I had other personal hurdles going on and life was challenging to say the least. I could not have managed it without permission to feel really bad sometimes. Depressed. Angry! Who ever said these are destructive emotions does not know what they are talking about.

Read this article and I promise you will have a much easier time when life becomes difficult.
